Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information is collected through www.advrajeshkannan.com (the “Site”), the website of Adv. K Rajesh Kannan, advocate, R K Chambers, Elamakkara, Ernakulam, and how that information is used.

1. Information you give us

When you book a consultation, the booking form (run by Zoho Bookings) asks for your name, email address, phone number and, if you choose, a short note about your matter. If you contact the advocate by WhatsApp, phone or email, the details in that message are received in the same way as any other message.

2. Information collected automatically

The Site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use it, for example which pages are read and whether the booking page is reached. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology and receives technical data such as your browser, device and approximate location. The appointment page also shows an embedded Google Map. The Site does not sell any information and does not use it for advertising profiles.

3. How the information is used

Information you provide is used only to arrange and hold your consultation, to reply to your enquiry, and to communicate with you about your matter. Booking confirmations and reminders are sent by Zoho Bookings to the email address you give.

4. Confidentiality

Anything you share about your legal matter is treated as confidential in line with the professional obligations of an advocate. Please do not send original documents or highly sensitive details through the booking form; bring them to the consultation or share them as the office advises.

5. Third-party services

The Site relies on Zoho Bookings (appointments), WhatsApp (messages you choose to send), Google Analytics (visitor statistics), Google Maps (location map), the Client Portal (for clients whose matters have been taken up and who have been given access) and the website’s hosting provider. Each of these services processes data under its own privacy policy.

6. How long information is kept

Booking and contact details are kept for as long as they are needed to deal with your consultation or matter, and for any period for which records must be kept under law or professional rules.

7. Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held about you, subject to any legal duty to keep records. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.

8. No advocate-client relationship through the Site

Sending information through the Site, booking a consultation or messaging on WhatsApp does not by itself create an advocate-client relationship.

9. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@advrajeshkannan.com.
